Pocket bikes are often described as mini motos or minimotos. There is no great difference between the two in that they are both miniature GP racing bikes. If you want to get technical though, mini moto is the term used to describe the more expensive, more accurate models, typically manufactured in Italy by comapnies such as Polini. You would expect to pay a significantly larger price for these because of the quality.
Mini motos being technically the highest quality versions, pocket bikes is the more general term covering the cheaper models available from other countries. The cheapest versions are from China, and most of those are based on a small number of Czech models.
Mini moto racing is fast becoming an exhilarating hobby around the world, both for amateurs and enthusiasts. Racing clubs are springing up all over the place, and if you fancy racing against other people for fun, for competition, or both, then you should be able to find a club in your vicinity.
Mini moto is the term most often used in Europe, and because we've done the searching around for you, we have a selection of partners that will be able to help you out if you live in Europe, either because they are European themselves or because they are willing to ship internationally.
