| Super Pocket Bikes - Stamas Stands Out Among The Rest |
Super Pocket Bikes - Stamas Stands Out Among The RestSuper pocket bikes are usually born out of companies that have dedicated their whole existences to motorcycle performance. There are the Polinis and the Blatas of the mini bike world, as well as all-around motorcycle legends like the Hondas and the Ninjas. That's where Stamas makes an odd fit for the pocket motorbike world. The company began in 1961 with a foundation far from the pocket motorcycle track. Stamas began as a manufacturer of mold and mechanical equipment. Mini Bikes That Break The MoldIt's kind of ironic, then, that a super pocket bike from Stamas breaks the mold when it comes to the standard pocket motorcycle. This doesn't surprise anyone, however, with an understanding of how the company progressed from making molds to designing full-fledged, full-sized motorcycle masterpieces. This started at Stamas in 1982 and continued through the rest of the decade. It was in the 1980s that the motorcycle maker created the Stamas GP 125 motorbike with a Cagiva WMX engine. This motorbike won several awards and built the company's reputation. Then came the emergence of mini motorcycles. The first Stamas pocket motorcycle arrived on the market in 1997. This super mini motorcycle made a name for itself across Italy first. Not long after, Stamas started competing and winning with their mini motorcycles across all of Europe.
