| Mini Pocket Bikes - Maintenance Is No Small Deal |
Mini Pocket Bikes - Maintenance Is No Small DealYou just bought your kids a pair of mini pocket bikes. You can't wait until the miniature motorbikes are shipped to your front door, and you can see the more than mini smiles on your kids' faces. You're sure they will appreciate the high-tech, high-performance mini pocket bike that you picked out for each of them. They should after the hundreds of dollars that you invested, right? Of course they will. Whether or not they continue to enjoy their mini motorcycles, though, is up to you. Mind these bike maintenance tipsYou see, mini motorcycles require regular maintenance to keep performing, just as any other machine does. In fact, your first bike maintenance tasks start as soon as the mini motorcycle arrives at your home. Many mini scooters or miniature motorcycles will arrive at your door from the factory mostly assembled. Still, it's a good idea to look over all of the bike's components, such as the bolts, nuts, and screws. Review the mini motorcycle's, too, including the muffler mounts, engine bolts, and axel bolts. Every piece of the pocket bike should be secure and in the correct place. For the pocket motorcycle's gas engine, you want to mix a batch of two-stroke oil and add as instructed in the bike's user manual. If your child's new mini bike is battery powered, be sure to charge the bike's battery as instructed. Whichever kind of mini motorcycle it is, be sure to also to grease the chain before every ride, and after every 10 minutes or riding. Use chain oil on the inside of your bike's chain. Experts also recommend treating your mini motorbike's chain with WD-40 after every day of riding, which will clean the chain before you put on the grease.
